Inch & Co., Inc., a family-owned real estate development company based in York announced development plans for a new indoor recreational facility at the site of the former Central High School sports stadium. The 250,000 square foot sports center will be located on 13 acres at 1100 Columbia Avenue and when complete will become one of the region’s largest indoor recreation facilities.
“We see a big need for what’s planned with this facility, and York County will love what is on the horizon for our community,” said John Inch, Jr., owner of Inch & Co. “Our focus will be on athletics, health, and wellness and further enhancing York’s identity as a regional destination. The economic boom to the York area will be tremendous.”

Sports on new events, allows current clientele to expand their existing tournaments and will drive more business to our hotels, restaurants and attractions which provides increased opportunity for residents.”
Currently scheduled to break ground in spring 2023, the facility is envisioned to offer a wide range of indoor experiences including:
A 98,000 square foot dome, housing a turf field, which can be utilized for football, lacrosse, baseball, soccer or field hockey
A 70,000 square foot hardwood court, which can be utilized as 16 volleyball courts, eight basketball courts, as well as pickleball and tennis courts
Fitness center and sports performance area
Sports recovery and physical therapy center
Chiropractic services
Café, lounge, and apparel store
